New year mega feature + question
Hi everyone,
I have something I want to ask you. I really want to join some photography groups where I can post my work, receive constructive critique, etc. I have found a few and joined last year but nowhere near as many as I'd like. Could you point me towards some of which you find are nice and sociable? The level if interaction on dA isn't what it used to be, so an active club would be a breath of fresh air.
Meanwhile, please enjoy the latest pieces that caught my attention. They are truly breathtaking works of art and I strongly suggest you take the time and view them all. :heart: I've saved them in fullview so they're easy to enjoy.

Holiday wishes + new subscription + features
Hello everyone,
Long time no hear again. This time around, I want to take the chance to wish everyone happy holidays and a great new year. I do hope that 2017 will bring each and every one of you joy, happiness and, most of all, artistic inspiration, and let's all hope we grow as artists in the coming year. Although I'm making these wishes a bit early, I don't actually plan on publishing any more journals this year. Even if I do have some other news.

So many things to write / update since my last journal. :aww:
First of all, I want to thank everyone (collectively) who took the time to send me some good thoughts for my birthday. I've turned 26 and thus marked my 10th year on this website, so big thanks to everyone. As soon as i'm done with this journal, i'll start answering people individually. :aww:
In other news, I'm also done with college and am the official owner of a Bachelor's Degree in Economics. Not that it helps a lot, since I actually work in IT, but just to give your a glimpse of why I'm not very active in photography at the moment. I've just finished educational work, housewo
Deviant wedding

First of all, i have to apologize for the lack of activity. I've been swamped with school (finishing college), work, building an apartment and, on top of evertything, I sold my old camera and lens and made a large basket of new ones ... which I just ordered and will be here in about a week.
I'll be the proud owner of a brand-new Canon 70d, a 10-18 lens, my old 50mm f1,8 prime and a new Sigma 70-300 for street shots. And, of course, new filters, bags, grips and all that. Costing about as much as one of my kidneys, but hey, i love photography, not cocaine.
